I’m Céline Nordberg, a Danish artist from the vibrant heart of Copenhagen, Denmark.

I work primarily with watercolor and oil. My choice of materials relates to their transparency and the way they allow me to build up images through translucent layers.

Through my art, I seek to evoke a resonance with the forgotten or hidden facets of the mind. By uniting emotion and reflection, I create a space where subtle symbolism and layered expressions invite the viewer to pause—to explore, recognize, and perhaps rediscover the deeper currents of their inner universe.

My work is often informed by states of altered consciousness, such as sleep paralysis or dreams, where the boundaries between perception, memory, and imagination begin to blur. In these liminal spaces, I find a language for what is usually left unspoken
